The Nation reports that officials allowed children to form a long queue at 7.30am to have an opportunity to sit on the seat of the most powerful position in the kingdom, as part of the long-held custom on Children’s Day. Pawornrisa Chaiwatmalakul, a student of the St Francis Xavier Muang Thong Thani, was first in the queue.

    FILE PHOTO “Police found 17 fake credit cards, three computers and a card writer and reader.” Pattaya police and immigration officials have arrested a Chinese and Taiwanese man over allegations of making fake credit cards with stolen information for an accomplice in Laos. Pattaya police held a press conference yesterday to announce the arrest of 27 year old Taiwanese citizen, Chen Hung Cheng and Chinese citizen, 30 year old Wang Fuhui. The two were arrested following a tip-off at their rented house at the Seagull Village housing estate near Jomtien Beach on Friday.
