PHUKET: Five Phuket anti-government protest leaders responded to a police summons yesterday morning and denied charges of obstructing the national election earlier this month and obstructing law enforcement officers. Suratin Lian-udom, Thepkrasattri Administration Organization (OrBorTor) President Sompop Konkeaw, former Rassada Municipality council member Chartchai Chuachit, Saman Krohlek, and Phuket Provincial Administration Organization (OrBorJor) council member Sanya Srimuang presented themselves at Thalang police station at 10am, surrounded by supporters who handed out red roses and offered words of encouragement. “We will be there with no fear,” said Mr Suratin after receiving the summons on Wednesday.
