    The Krabi Highway Office plans to take further legal action against a hotel in Krabi today for allegedly dumping garbage on a roadside in Muang district. Rab Nga-fah, chief of the Tambon Sai Thai Administrative Organisation, asked the office to take legal action against the Vogue Resort & Spa Ao Nang, a hotel in Tambon Ao Nang of Muang district. Rab said that a huge pile of garbage bags was found on the side of Ao Nam Mao-Ao Nang road near the Krabi sports stadium earlier today

    FILE PHOTO: nationmultimedia.com A canal running through three districts in Krabi burst its banks and inundate several villages early on Thursday after hours of heavy rain overnight. Officials said the Klong Sin Poon canal that runs through Klong Thom district, Nua Klong district and Khao Phanom district overflowed at about 4am, causing widespread flooding in three districts. The canal receives water from the Nakhon Si Thammarat’s Thung Yai districts before it empties into the sea.

Krabi City Police were notified of the carnage on Sri Trang Road near an intersection in the Krabi City Municipality at about noon yesterday (Sunday).     Police this week have arrested a pair of gunmen who shot two people that were riding in the back of a pickup. One man was shot dead whilst the other man was seriously injured in Krabi in June. 28 year old Somkit Khaokaewk was shot dead while 36 year old Banyat Duangwang sustained a serious injury.
