    45 year old Swede arrested on Koh Chang over $11 million scam

    SCREENSHOTS: Manager Online video 45 year old Swedish national, Roger Nils Jonas Karlsson, has been arrested in connection with a multi-million dollar fraud. He was arrested on Koh Chang, far eastern Thailand near the Cambodian border. Police seized electronic devices and computers, allegedly used in the fraudulent activities relating to his arrest. Thai police were acting on an Interpol red notice alleging that Karlsson had defrauded more than 3,500 victims of US$11 million.

He says he’s convinced that ‘persons of influence’ are behind the stall that he claims are threatening his staff. 35 year old Dechapong Jantharusorn, the owner of Sunrise Taco at the end of Silom Soi 4, says he has complained to police who did nothing after the owner of the stall said he rented from him

    Landowners could face jail – Koh Samui ‘mystery tunnel’ case

    PHOTOS: Manager Online Koh Samui authorities are planning to pursue a case against the landowners on either side of a tunnel that was allegedly constructed without permission. The tunnel connects the beach at Ban Tai with a private road and undeveloped piece of forest land two hundred metres from the island’s main ring road in the Mae Nam district.  It was earlier reported that the tunnel was part of an uncompleted hotel development.

    A delegation of Chinese Embassy officials and diplomats from Bangkok visited Pattaya yesterday to seek more information and request upgrades in safety for Chinese citizens when visiting the resort city. The visit follows a concerning rise in the number of deaths from Chinese people drowning whilst visiting Pattaya.

    Singaporean’s house catches fire in Hat Yai

    PHOTOS: Manager Online A fire has partially destroyed a two storey luxury house occupied by a Singaporean in Hat Yai. Manager online reports that the fire took control of the house in the City Park housing estate on Phonpichai Road in Hat Yai, Songkhla. The Mittaparb Samakkee Hat Yai rescue foundation arrived at the scene, followed by firefighters from the Hat Yai City Municipality
