After widespread rumours swept through social media, citing corruption with the distribution of Premium Lane cards at Suvarnabhumi Airport allegedly sold to regular passengers via tour operators or nominees, Airports of Thailand is denying any involvement in such a scheme, confirming it only provides special security screening services to eligible passengers. Thai PBS reports that the victim was later identified as 37 year old Sarisan Amri who was the subject of five outstanding arrest warrants for his suspected involvement in a series of offences in southern province. About 100 troops and para-military rangers headed to Village Two of Tambon Bang Khao in Nong Chik where a group of suspected militants was reported to be hiding. The security forces ordered those inside the hideout to come out using loud hailers and warning shots.
