    Krabi military fixing bridge washed away in rain

    Krabi military officers brought in machineries to Tupprik Sub-District yesterday (April 2) to fix Huay To Bridge after it has been damaged by flash flood. The damage of the bridge blocked a local community of 30 houses near Khao Panom Benja National Park as well as tourists from entering the national park. They had to walk through water to get to the other side.

    PHUKET: The Phuket Land Transportation Office (PLTO) will issue documents to certify illegal tour van drivers who have applied to become legal so they may continue working until their applications are processed. The news follows a group of illegal van drivers appealing to Phuket Governor Maitri Inthusut yesterday for the right to keep working until their applications to become legal are approved. “We are willing to register and become legal, but the process can take up to six months.
