Cyclists in Thachatchai area who like to ride against traffic flow are being warned by local traffic police that the law enforcement on ‘ghost riding’ will be stricter from now on. Following a large number of cyclists being spotted riding against the traffic flow, Thachatchai traffic police announced that they will enforce the traffic law section 43 (8) for ‘careless riding’, which includes a 2,000 – 10,000 Baht fine or a maximum 3 months in prison. The cyclists who choose to break the law will be at the mercy of the Court for the judge to decide between a fine and, or, a prison sentence
