More than 5,000 passengers have been stranded at Suvarnabhumi Airport since last night night after many departure flights were cancelled due to the emergency closure of airspace in Pakistan. Many more passengers are ending up inconvenienced today as they learn about the cancellations. The debacle is causing another PR disaster for Thai Airways with passengers complaining about lack of any communication about the situation.
