The victims were rushed to Pattaya Memorial Hospital after the Bangkok-registered tour bus careered into a traffic-island drainage canal in front of the Ambassador City Hotel. The Pattaya Mail reports that sixteen other passengers on the bus were shaken but unhurt by the incident.
