    PHOTOS: Chiang Mai Traffic Police Many motorbike passengers and drivers have been injured as they headed down and stopped inside the Fa Harm Underpass in Chiang Mai yesterday. Chiang Mai News reports that the accident happened at 6pm last night inside the Fa Harm Underpass on Super Highway Road, northbound. Police and emergency responders arrived at the scene to find many damaged motorbikes and five injured people.

    PHOTO: Before the new Ratchayothin underpass that was opened this week PM Prayut Chan-o-cha wants more tunnels and flyovers be built to ease traffic congestions in Bangkok. Transport Minister Arkhom Termpittayapaisith says Prayut was impressed that the new Ratchayothin underpass had reduced congestion on Ratchadapisek Road at the Ratchayothin Intersection. The tunnel project was completed in 21 months, three months ahead of schedule, and used just 1.2 billion of the 1.5 billion baht budgeted for construction.

    Beach closure has been announced due to the bad weather and big waves include 10 beaches around Phuket which are Mai Khao Beach, Nai Yang Beach, Nai Thorn Beach, Bangtao Beach, Surin Beach, Kamala Beach, Patong Beach, Karon Beach, Kata Beach and Nai Harn Beach. Meanwhile, the underpass at Darasamuth School intersection has also been closed down for painting the lane separation in the underpass. The works are taking place from September 20 – 22 from 9 pm until 4 am for northbound lanes and from September 23 – 24 from 9 pm – 4 am for southbound lanes
