Entertainment venues in Patong, connected to the Sattahip murder, found illegal
Police last night (July 31) raided an entertainment business on Bangla Road which allegedly belongs to one of the Chonburi double murder suspects. The business was found to be illegal. Chonburi police, investigating the brazen double execution-style murder in the car park at Buddha Mountain in Sattahip, say initial investigations were able to uncover a number of possible motives and implicate an initial set of suspects.

Illegal bird feed vendors arrested at Tha Pae Gate, Chiang Mai.
Chiang Mai City Life is reporting that the pigeons at Tha Pae Gate have been an ongoing issue for the city as their numbers has been reportedly increasing. In the attempt to prevent an infestation of pigeons in the area, Chiang Mai Municipality enacted a law prohibiting any street vendor in the area to sell bird feed. For tourists and locals, it is not uncommon to have someone try and sell bird feed to you at the gate, despite this law.

July stats see a small drop in tourists through Thai airports
July 2018 stats from the AoT (Airports Authority of Thailand) indicates that fewer tourists went through Thai airports than expected. Channel 7 News reports that, while there was still an increase of 4% compared to the same month in 2017, the numbers buck the overall trend which has seen an average 9% rise in usage per month since the start of this year. Four killed and two badly injured in Prachuap Khiri Khan head-on
Four people have been killed and two others injured after a pickup lost control at a curve and crashed head-on with another pickup travelling in the opposite lane in Prachuap Khiri Khan. Police say the accident happened last night (Tuesday) on the Phetkasem-Dan Singkhon road in Ban Nong Nam Khao village in Tambon Klong Wan of Muang district.
