Man dies after live-streaming in his pick-up during heavy rain

Two injured after car overturns and hits a bridge
Two people have sustained injuries after their car overturned, colliding with a bridge and mains water pipe in Chalong early this morning. The Chalong Police were notified about the accident at 2am today.

One killed and 29 injured as bus overturns in Khon Kaen
A bus overturned in Khon Kaen province yesterday morning (Sunday), resulting in one death and injuring 29 others. The 51 year old bus driver, identified only as Sarawut, has sustained injuries to his ears and face from the crash.

Poll shows most agree 450 baht pet registration fee too high
A NIDA poll shows a split reaction to the new pet registration law proposals. Just over half of the people surveyed in the NIDA Poll were opposed to the government’s proposal that pet owners be charged a fee to register their cats and dogs.

Nine Burmese migrants die in van crash inferno
Nine Burmese labourers have died this morning (Sunday) when the passenger van carrying them smashed into a roadside tree and caught fire in Kamphaeng Phet, in the central-west of Thailand. Six others on board, including the Thai van driver, were injured.

Swimmers stung by Bluebottles on Patong Beach

Four Thai pilots told not to discuss the first class seat fiasco
As if their slice of the local Thai market keeps dwindling amidst increased competition and rising operating costs, and one of their planes skids off a runway at Suvarnabhumi last week, wasn’t bad enough. Now Thai Airways is facing another PR nightmare over bumped passengers on one of its flights. After the Thai Airways president expressed ‘regret’ and said the issue was ‘severe’, nothing more has been forthcoming over the October 11 incident on a Zurich to Bangkok flight.

Ceremony held in Chiang Rai marking 100 days since the death of Saman Kunan
PHOTO: Thai PBS A religious ceremony has been held at a temple and near the entrance to the Tham Luang cave in Chiang Rai to mark the 100 th day of the death of Saman Kunan, a former Thai Navy SEAL member, who died trying to help save the trapped Mu Pa football team. The religious ceremony was organised by the Mae Sai district office, the Chiang Rai cultural office and the provincial office of social development. The 13 Mu Pa team members and their parents were involved in yesterday’s ceremonies.
