Uproar yesterday following video showing a Thai man and woman stealing a Chinese tourist’s expensive shoes at Wat Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai. Daily News reports that the mum and dad, with their child, were caught on CCTV at the temple. Mum takes off her shoes and these are put in a bag by the father. Then they come back and mum selects the best she can find – alleged to be a 3,500 baht pair of sneakers – from the rack. Then off they head home on a motorbike

Posted by Jalur Merah on Monday, May 28, 2018 The child who was thrown out of a vehicle in an incident which occurred at the Road Transport Department traffic light junction here last night in Terengganu (May 28), was probably not secured with a seat belt, said Terengganu police chief Aidi Ismail. Terengganu is the Sultanate on the northern east coast of Malaysia. “If the seat belt had been secured, the child would not have fallen out of the moving vehicle, even if the door was not closed properly or the door was flung open by the child,” he told Bernama on Tuesday. The 12-second video went viral on Facebook since last night after it was shared by an account holder known as “Poh KF”

Krabi kindergarten teacher being investigated for pupil abuse
After a gathering of interested parents and teachers from the Utarakij School students at Krabi Damrongtham Centre, calling for the expulsion of the kindergarten teacher of class 1 and 2, after she allegedly abused her students (and allegedly attacked parents as well as locking up her students), Krabi Primary Education Office Deputy Director, Songserm Mengbut, has updated the situation. He says that the school director has ordered the teacher to only teach her subjects alongside another teacher and has removed her from being the class teacher
