Two female foreigners die in high speed road accident in Phuket
Two female foreigners, riding a powerful motorbike, have died at the scene of the crashafter colliding with a car in Chalong. Chalong Police were notified of the incident at 11.30pm on Chao Fa West Road near a local seafood restaurant.

Phuket joined the Life Saving World Championship 2018 in Australia
Athletes who were heading to the Life Saving World Championship , in Australia over the past week, met with the Phuket Governor Pakkapong Tawipat before heading to the event. The President of the Phuket Association, Anupohn Arunrat, led athletes, who have been competing in the Life Saving World Championship 2018 at Glenelg, Adelaide from November 19 to 26, to meet with the Phuket Governor Pakkapong Tawipat for encouragement before jumping on the plane and taking the flight south to Adelaide. Khun Anuphon has also been a great supporter for Phuket life saving participating in the competition and helped to raise support for the team to make the trip

Shooting begins on “The Cave, Nang Non” film
Tom Waller, a Thai filmmaker with Irish heritage, begun filming a movie which showcases the international operation to rescue the “Mu Pa” football team from the flooded Tham Luang cave in July. The film, called “The Cave, Nang Non”, captures the tense efforts to rescue the 13 members of the team, that gripped the world’s attention for weeks. The youngsters were praised at the time for their bravery throughout their ordeal and rescuers were lauded for their successful life-threatening efforts to reach them

Three paper factory warehouses catch fire in Samut Prakan
Firefighters continued to tackle a huge fire at a recycled paper factory in Samut Prakan, just south of Bangkok, into the early hours of this morning after flames destroyed three warehouses.
