Police hunting for two men who robbed shop in Chalong
Police are still hunting for two suspects who last night robbed a shop in Chalong and sped away with 3,000 baht cash and a gold necklace. The Chalong Police were notified of the incident at 7.15pm last night, that two suspects had robbed the shop in Soi Songkhun in Chalong. CCTV footage showed the two suspects on a motorbike stopping in front of the shop before going inside the shop

Environmental Impact Report for the Ao Kung marina project withdrawn
The Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIA) of the proposed Ao Kung Marina project has been withdrawn after most locals rejected the idea of the project. The issue of potential damage to coral reefs was raised after local residents near Koh Hei, in the Ao Kung area of Paklok, was brought up with the Phuket Governor during the earlier phases of the EIA.

More cocaine has been discovered in Patong while more heroine has been seized in a major crackdown on ‘hard’ drugs. Krabi governor orders the best care for an injured rock-climber
The Krabi Governor has has instructed care-givers and hospital staff to provide good care for an injured tourist who fell off a cliff at Railey Bay in Krabi. On Tuesday 34 year old Mr Scmal Bach Priel, who is touring with his American wife, was taken to Krabi Hospital. He was injured after falling during rock-climbing at a cliff in Railey Bay.
